And your Gatornationals winners are . . .

Morgan Lucas blasted the GEICO/Lucas Oil Dragster to a winning -- and dominating -- 3.743-second, 326.87-mph Top Fuel run to win the Tire Kingdom Gatornationals at Auto-Plus Raceway for the first time, stretching Tony Schumacher's winless streak in the U.S. Army Dragster to 26 events.

He joined Robert Hight (Funny Car), Mike Edwards (Pro Stock), and Eddie Krawiec (Pro Stock Motorcycle) in the winners circle.

In the Funny Car class, Robert Hight, in the Auto Club Ford Mustang, won an ugly pedal fest over Johnny Gray and his Service Central Dodge Charger to earne his second straight victory and the John Force organization's third in as many races this year. Hight won at 4.86 seconds

Thanks to an excellent .003-second reaction time, Mike Edwards won the Pro Stock trophy over Greg Anderson on a holeshot. Edwards drove the Penhall/K&N/Interstate Pontiac to victory with a 6.566-second E.T. at 211.30 mph against Anderson's quicker and faster 6.538, 211.69 in the KB / Summit Racing Equipment Pontiac.

No one got to see a 200-mph Pro Stock Motorcycle pass in the final round, but the few on and for the delayed finals did see Eddie Krawiec complete his sweep of the season-opener and win the Vance & Hines Screamin' Eagle Harley-Davidson battle against Andrew Hines. Krawiec won with a 6.22, 194-mph, and Hines countered with a 6.861 at 194.55. Krawiec was No. 1 qualifier and set the national E.T. mark, had top speed of the meet, and had low E.T. of each round, setting the bar high in this first of 16 races for the bike class.
